Pushing Virtual Limits

Day 2-4

It is day 4 here in India.

I added some more pictures to the Picasa album (see the earlier post and just delete the album name off the end)

This includes pictures of the wipro campus, the commute in, and some of the team I am working with here. Everyone is exceptionally nice to the point where one must question how they can possibly be sincere.

All the training and material I had prepped to do has been tossed out the window due to a lack of access, lack of equipment, and my inability to make miracles happen. So instead of fun hands on tasks I am working through manuals and how to guides.

When the CSI CBT is the high point of your week you know things are going well.

Aside from that I am counting down the days until I can go home. Tonight I am going to call the Amex people and see if I can get out of the country sooner than later because while I was here for 2 weeks of training no one told me Diwali would take two of those days away.

At this point sitting in the business class lounge in Frankfurt would be a huge upgrade from the experience I am having here.

Oh, and as a side note to anyone who might want to come. If you don’t like Indian food to begin with don’t anticpate acquiring a taste for it or being able to eat 90% of the food. Even the non-indian food tastes like Indian food.

 Back to the grind.

So… Don’t drink the water.

I am not drinking the water. Only bottled water. Like 3.5L a day at an
approximate cost of nearly 20$US.
It is insane.
