I love this book and the graphic on the cover so I thought I would share it with everyone. Slightly off topic but we have all had to engage in powerpoint jiggery and non-sense.

The modified version doesn’t do it justice but I think everyone should take the time to find this short pamphlet and read through it. I have a number of Tufte’s books and have found them all to be very well written, informative, and fun. Yes, doing graphs correctly can be fun. Especially as you can now critique the wonderful slide shows we normally get to see.

N.B. – I am a firm believer in the five slide rule. If you can’t get you message across in five slides or less than you should seriously revisit what you are doing and make sure that YOU understand it.
